ABOUT ME
Midwest Technology Dude
I love reading and learning.  I figure this location is as good a place as any to note what I like and am interested in.

And now for a profound quote by the great philosopher, "I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities." - Dr. Seuss (1904 - 1991)

Who is this guy?:

  • Physics fan
  • Networking technology
  • Read tons of tech books
  • Graduated UMUC with a BS in CIS
  • Never stop learning
  • I'm not so bad, I promise
BIO
I wrote my first computer code when my father brought home a broken Commodore 64 he found in a pile of garbage.  While my pals were playing Pole Position I was writing games in Basic.  I did not know what a computer geek was growing up in rural Texas.  I just thought it was this useless thing I did that my family and friends just said "Hmm..." to when I showed them.

Now adays technology is what I choose to busy my mind with, as I am happiest when I am learning something new or hacking away at a puzzle of some sort.

Most people wave at you when you pass them in the street and are just plain nice.  Wish I grew up here!
